Hailing from Western Sydney, 22-year-old Sri Lankan-Australian artist Ama is carving out her place in the indie-pop scene with compelling storytelling and introspective lyricism. A self-proclaimed emotional wreck turned songwriter, she brings a fresh and deeply personal touch to her music, drawing inspiration from artists like Alexander 23, Gracie Abrams, and Devon Again.
Ama’s latest release, Employee, has been making waves, reaching #1 Most Played on Triple J, earning Featured Track of the Day, and receiving heavy rotation on Triple J Unearthed, Joy FM, Abreak Radio, and more.
